Paula Hornickel (*1998) is a Berlin/Dortmund based portrait and documentary photographer from Cottbus, Germany, working at the intersection of visual storytelling. Her practice explores socio-cultural dynamics, questions of identity, and perspectives on the future. She is currently pursuing a dual Master’s degree in Photographic Studies at FH Dortmund and Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts, where she previously completed her Bachelor’s degree. In 2023, she studied Photography as an exchange student at Pratt Institute in New York City. At the moment she is a Freelance Photographer: working on assignment and on personal projects.
